These pots are often referred to as a Medicine Bowl used for ceremonial purposes. The etchings on the bowl are of a Yei which is a stylized figure of a Navajo Deity adapted from the sandpainting designs of the religious healing ceremonies. Handmade by Arnold Lameman.
